A Good Neighbor Day Success!

We were excited to have celebrated our 13th FTD Good Neighbor Day this year on the first Wednesday of September. In celebration, we handed our 10,000 FREE roses throughout Chicagoland... but with a catch: we encouraged everyone who received a FREE bouquet to keep one for themselves and hand the others away to make new friends and help us make 10,000 people smile!

Also, we 'greenified' our Good Neighbor Day efforts around at our retail locations. We encouraged Chicagoland to bring in old vases and containers in exchange for their FREE roses! NBC supported our efforts by telling all of Chicagoland about our events! Did you see Ashland Addison Florist Co on Chicago's NBC station??

It worked!

Here are some of the responses we received:

"Just a note to thank you for the gorgeous white roses given to my friend, Connie, at the train station for "It's Good Neighbor Day." They are absolutely beautiful and she and I are enjoying them so much. Today is my wedding anniversary so Connie is sharing them with me. Again, thanks for doing such a nice thing. You made our week."

"I just wanted to say thank you for handing out the beautiful bouquets of roses this morning downtown. Such a nice gesture and they are gorgeous! Definitely brightened my day."

Looking forward to sharing even more smiles with Chicago next year!
